Original mid-WW2 manufacture belt ammo pouch for “Karabiner 98K” Mauser bolt-action rifle. This pouch was made in 1942 by Landeslieferungsgenossenschaft des Sattlerhandwerks (Lagesa) – a state or regional supply cooperative of the saddler craft based in Dresden. Lagesa acted as a centralized cooperative and coordinated local, smaller independent master saddlers and leather workshops in the Dresden region to mass-produce military gear, including Kar98k ammunition pouches.
This ammo pouch is in great overall condition. All internal ammo clip dividers, iron fittings, and rear D-ring are intact. The leather is a bit stiff but intact. Almost 90 years later, this Germany WW2 Lagesa ammo pouch is in 100% serviceable condition still. These original mid-war specimens are scarce this nice and complete. Don’t miss your chance to add this Germany WW2 Lagesa ammo pouch to your collection!
