Original British military issue jack/clasp knife manufactured in 1944 by Humphreys in Sheffield, England, under the “Radiant” trademark. This exact type is illustrated on pages 142-143 of the excellent reference book BRITISH AND COMMONWEALTH MILITARY KNIVES by Ron Flook (see the book’s pages scans attached).
The knife is about 3-3/4″ / 9.5 cm overall closed; the main blade is about 2-1/2″ / 6.4 cm long; it is very sharp still; the tip is intact. The integrated flat-head screwdriver and the can opener are in great shape with no damage. The knife is solid; all parts are tight with no play; the springs are super-tight. A couple of chips on plastic scales near the middle rivet are noted for accuracy. This original 1944 WW2 British Army clasp knife is in great overall condition, considering the age.
