Al Mar Wild Hair dagger made in the 1980th in Seki, Japan. Rare 1st production run serial 110/200, original sheath with nail file. Unused condition – rare this nice and complete.
A scarce limited edition “1st run” of the long-discontinued Al Mar Knives Wild Hair model 7003 pocket dagger/hair brush knife in rare unused condition; manufactured in the 1980th in Seki, Japan. Designed by the renowned knifemaker D (Butch) Beaver in the early 1980th, this specimen was part of the rare 1st production run limited to just 200 serial-numbered daggers; this specimen is SN 110/200. The knife comes with the original pocket-carry leather sheath with original stainless nail file included. Original factory edge is razor-sharp; the tip is intact. This slim profile dagger is about 6″ / 15.2 cm overall; the blade is about 3-1/2″ / 9 cm. The dagger is made of tough AM6 stainless alloy; this is a nice an practical little knife. Leather pocket-carry sheath is also unused; a few typical scuff marks are noted for accuracy; the leather is soft and supple still.
