Mega rare Hawaii Ahualoa Land Bank “King Kamehameha I” private issue struck in sterling silver in 1976 by The Hawaiian Mint. The coin is still in the original-issue coin capsule with all stickers attached – this type is VERY rare as such. This “King Kamehameda I” 1-year type was struck in sterling silver as a Proof (reference No. 2MB-14); some sources claim that only 12 were minted. Another source states that 350 coins were struck for the entire series – there were a total of 3 types issued by The Hawaiian Mint in 1976.
