Original Nicholas II era (1894-1917) silver coronation commemorative Rouble struck in 1896 at the St. Petersburg mint; mint master’s initials A.G. on the rim. Scarce 1- year type; these Coronation Roubles are hard-to-find nowadays. This is an attractive specimen with original light-gray patina and great overall eye appeal – not cleaned, no scratches, dings or rim nicks. The coin is about 34 mm in diameter, 20 grams; inscription on the rim.
