Vintage AL MAR KNIVES SPECIAL WARFARE II model 3102 large fighting knife in mint condition; manufactured in Seki, Japan. The knife is still in the original retail box, complete with Al Mar’s “The Warrior’s Edge” mini-pamphlet printed in 1982. Scarce 1980th pre-production run tat was limited to the first 200 serial-numbered knives (serial 096/200 etched on the blade with sharply stamped SEKI JAPAN just below the serial number). Black nylon tactical sheath with multi-point attachment system and a tie-down black paracord is included. The sheath for this Fighter was made by EAGLE USA in St. Louis, Mo, USA – it is of excellent overall quality.
The knife and sheath are in absolute mint condition. This big boy is about 13-3/8″ / 34 cm overall; the blade is about 7-1/2″ / 19 cm. Moisture-resistant laminated wood handle with stainless steel pints; the handguard is a solid polished bronze piece; all parts are tight with no play. Original edge is RAZOR-sharp; needle-like tip is intact.
