Original Germany silver commemorative airship Graf Zeppelin 5 Mark struck in 1930 to commemorate Zeppelin’s 1929 flight around the world; Berlint mint issue. Not a large mintage to begin with, only a tiny fraction of these commemoratives were struck in Proof – this type is VERY hard to find nowadays. Authenticated and graded by NGC as PF66 CAMEO (NGC certification # 2888483-013) – only 1 was graded higher!! NGC is America’s best and most stringent grading service. Lately, this type is counterfeited quite a bit in Russia and China.
