Cold War BOC M7 bayonet manufactured by Bauer Ordnance Company (BOC), M10 scabbard; excellent specimen in UNUSED condition. FREE EXPEDITED SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S. FOR THIS ITEM.
Original Cold War era M7 bayonet manufactured circa 1969 by Bauer Ordnance Company (BOC). The M7 bayonet was first issued in 1964; it was originally designed for the M16 rifle but it will fit several later-produced US combat rifles, including the current M4 carbine. BOC was awarded its first bayonet production contract in October 1968.
This specimen is in rare unused / unissued condition with original finish and factory edge. This Cold War BOC M7 bayonet is about 12″ / 30.5 cm overall; parkerized blade is about 6-3/4″ / 17.3 cm long. Factory-original edge is razor sharp (including the “false” edge); the tip is intact. Ricasso is unmarked as intended; muzzle ring/guard is stamped US M7 on one side, BOC on the other. OD-green plastic handle grips are tight and in perfect condition; bayonet release mechanism is excellent and 100% functional; all handle parts are solid with no play. Original M10 composition scabbard was made by Ontario Knife Co. The scabbard is unused as well; black nylon leg tie is still attached.
This original Cold War BOC M7 bayonet / M10 composition scabbard set is in excellent 100% serviceable condition. Not cleaned or tampered with in any way, 100% original “as is” condition; these are the actual photos.
