Case XX 1980 Winter Olympics knife, limited edition sterling silver commemorative issue, original box is included. FREE SHIPPING WITHIN THE US FOR THIS ITEM.
Rare W.R CASE & SONS CUTLERY COMPANY limited edition model OL278 two-blade folder with high-relief cast sterling silver handle scales designed by Shaw-Leibowitz; issued for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY.
The knife is still in the “as purchased” condition with original packaging. Only 1,000 serial-numbered knives were issued for the Olympic event with serial numbers ranging from 1000 to 1999; this knife’s serial number is 1176 (engraved on the main blade). This Case XX 1980 Winter Olympics knife model is exceedingly hard to find in mint condition AND with the original Case XX presentation box included. Don’t miss your chance to add it to your collection!
This rare Case XX 1980 Winter Olympics knife has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, it’s in 100% original “as is” condition; these are the actual photos. I have a few more modern US-made knives, as well as several vintage WW2 era American blades (inducing an original WW2 era Rudy Ruana fighting knife), as well as Allied WW2 era combat knives, bayonets, and scarce WW1 / WW2 fighting daggers/trench knives from other countries available for sale – please take a look in the store’s Militaria section.
