Description
Very interesting and certainly one of a kind WW2 era “theater” fighting knife; come with the original owner-sign leather scabbard. The blade is very sharp still; the tip is intact. The handle is tight; all parts are solid with no play. The knife is about 11-3/8” / 29 cm overall; the blade is about 6-3/8” / 16.2 cm long. Original hand-made leather scabbard is well-used; some of the stitching has begun to fall apart. The back of the hanger is signed STEELE. An interesting WW2 era “theater knife” with a lot of character; it will be a great addition to any collection!
This WW2 American theater-made fighting knife has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way; it is in 100% original “as is” condition; these are the actual photos. We have more WW2 American fighting knives, as well as several scarce WW1 and WW2 fighting daggers, bayonets and trench knives available for sale – please take a look in our Militaria section.
