Description

WW2 American fighting knife made from M3/M4 production overruns; original “hula girl” decorated leather scabbard included. Excellent overall condition, considering the age.

Original WW2 or Korean War era American fighting knife made from M3 – M4 production overruns; the knife comes with original leather sheath decorated with a pretty “hula girl” art on the front side. Unmarked blade; this type was manufactured during WW2 by Aerial Cutlery Company and by several other makers post-war, utilizing a quantity of semi-finished M3/M4 blades. This fighting knife is only slightly used; it’s about 11-3/4″ / 30 cm overall; bright-polished or chromed unmarked blade is about 6-3/4″ / 17.2 cm. Seems to be an original edge on the blade, it is razor-sharp still; the tip is intact. Steel butt plate with a lanyard D-ring, half-guard and stacked leather washers handle; the guard is solid with no play. The sheath is in excellent condition, considering the age, the stitching is intact; the sheath is in 100% serviceable condition even now.
