Description
Original US issue 5-inch blade Jet Pilot Knife with original scabbard and sharpening stone in scarce unused condition. Manufactured in May 1999 by Ontario Co. in upstate New York; the pommel is stamped ONTARIO / 5-99. The knife is about 9-1/2″ / 24.2 cm overall; parkerized blade is about 5″ /12.7 cm. Original factory edge; the tip is intact; no contact marks on the pommel. The saw teeth on the blade’s spine are in great condition. Stacked leather washers handle with iron guard and hammer-like pommel; the handle is solid; all parts are tight with no play. Original-issue leather scabbard with a metal-reinforced tip/back and a honing stone in the front pocket; the scabbard and sharpening stone are also unused; this set is in excellent overall condition. The leather is soft and supple still; all original stitching and rivets are intact, original keeper is intact and tight. This great-looking USA Ontario 1999 Jet Pilot Knife will make an excellent addition to any collection of military blades.
This USA Ontario 1999 Jet Pilot Knife with original leather scabbard & honing stone have not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, the set is in 100% original “as is” condition; these are the actual photos.
