Large Walthamstow Rolling Mills/British Copper Company private-issue 1812 “one Penny” tokem. The company was established in 1807; these tokens most likely circulated in Swansea and London. The coin is about 35 mm in diameter; about 22.4 grams, rolled security-edge rim; very attractive specimen with original chocolate-brown patina throughout. Not cleaned, polished, or otherwise messed around with; these are the actual photos.
