Soviet Russia silver 1924 Rouble 1st year of issue – the very first coinage issued by the USSR. Nicely toned specimen in XF+ condition; scarce this nice.
A great-looking Soviet “worker and a farmer” type Rouble specimen in XF+ condition with attractive light-gray patina. About 34 mm in diameter, weights 20 gm; Leningrad mint issue; mint master’s initials ΠΛ on the rim. The “worker” Rouble was a short-lived one-year type and the very first coinage issued by the just-established USSR . Most of these were melted down once USSR went off the silver standard a few years later; scarce this nice.
This Soviet Russia silver 1924 Rouble is in the original “as purchased” condition; these are the actual photos. An old cleaning; a couple of minor bag marks are noted for accuracy. Not a later reproduction or a copy; this Soviet Russia silver 1924 Rouble is guaranteed to be 100% authentic or your money back.
