PUMA Germany 4-Star 725 knife Hartholz wood handle. Made in 1990; mint and still in original green-and-yellow box with papers in German and English.
Excellent quality lockback folder by PUMA, Germany. This is a “full-size” model 725 4-Star with black Hartholz (hardwood) handle scales; hand-made in 1990 (Puma’s control number 46092 on the blade lock release). Mint condition; the knife is still in the original correctly-labeled classic Puma green-n-yellow plastic retail box and sharpening/care instructions in English and German.
The knife has not been used or carried; the blade retains its factory edge, it is VERY sharp; the tip is intact. The blade opens and closes with a sharp snap. The knife is about 7″ / 17.8 cm overall opened; the blade is about 2-7/8″ / 7.3 cm. Puma’s special molybdenum alloy stainless steel blade is hardened to a respectable 57-61 RC on the Rockwell scale, solid nickel-silver bolsters and pins, brass liners; Hartholz handle scales with a round bronze PUMA medallion on one side. All parts are tight with zero movement. Original Puma plastic green/yellow case with green interior foam; original care/warranty papers and outer cardboard box are included. Scarce this nice, especially in mint condition with original packaging and papers.
Very hard to find PUMA Germany 4-Star 725 knife set in excellent overall condition; it will be a welcome addition to any collection. We have more Puma models, as well as some scarce European blades available for sale; please take a look here for additional items.
