Rare New York metropolitan area vintage Yard and Garden Competition award medal; dated 1934. Struck in sterling silver – 0.925 fitness – by Lambert Bros in New York City; a rare type. Large medal – about 51 mm in diameter; weights 48.1 gm/1.695 oz; plain rim. Excellent and well-preserved medal – a nice piece of the fading pre-WW2 Mew York history with attractive light-gray patina; Almost Uncirculated condition.
