Rare 2008 Marble’s Knives special custom Trailmaker model Hunter-Skinner with limited edition sambar stag handle option and huge 10-inch gold-etched blade. This rare type was sold exclusively to the Marble Plus Knife Club – it is 1 of just 131 such knives ever made. Colored spacers combination indicate 2002 production year; this impressive Trailamker was expertly hand-finished at the Marble’s factory in Gladstone, Michigan.
Marble’s Knives was one of the best US makers of hunting knives, axes and other outdoors gear since 1898. These limited-edition “club knives” were only available to the Marble Plus Knife Club members; this is NOT one of the Marble’s general-issue knives; a great find. The knife is about 15-3/8″ / 39 cm overall; satin-polished blade is about 10-1/8″ / 25.7 cm long. Original factory edge is razor-sharp; the tip is intact. Genuine sambar stag handle and stag pommel; the guard is polished solid bronze. The handle is tight; all parts are solid with no play. This knife is in as-issued mint condition, complete with original brown leather sheath, cardboard blade protector, paper wrap, and original correctly-labeled retail box.
