Description
Germany silver 500000 Mark counter-strike over Bavarian 1912D 3 Mark. Original circa 1920-1923 post-WW1 hard times “Hyper-Inflation money” strike; VERY hard to find type nowadays.
The host coin is Bavarian 3 Mark – about 33 mm in diameter, 16.67 grams, inscription on the rim. The counter-strike stamp is crisp and clear. Not cleaning with original light-gray patina. No rim bumps or nicks; these are the actual photos.
This rare Germany silver 500000 Mark counter-strike is not a later reproduction or a copy; it is guaranteed to be 100% authentic or your money back. This coin was part of the life-long numismatic collection assembled an American German-born doctor; it is still in its original circa 1970th-1980th coin flip with the original owner’s hand-written note (the previous owner paid $90 for this coin in 1966, according to the note).
I’m going to list more coins for the same collection in the next couple of weeks. Please take a look at our recent listings for more Austro-Hungarian, Austrian States, Bavarian, Prussian, and other German States coins and medals.
