Rare gilt silver Wurttemberg state Exhibition of the Regional Association of Hairdressers award medal presented to a lucky winner named Heilbronn in 1909. Scarce pre-WW1 Imperial Germany type struck in .950 fitness silver; the medal is still in its original-issue presentation box – rare this nice. Gilt silver specimen in uncirculated condition with attractive original patina. The medal is about 40.6 mm in diameter; about 32.2 grams; fitness proof mark on the rim reads 950. Original box is a bit worn with scuff marks along the edges but is intact and in great shape overall, considering the age. A rare early “personal beauty arts” award medal in excellent overall condition – a great find!
