Description
Carl Eickhorn Solingen Fallschirmjäger-Messer blade; post-war blued steel type replacement for take-down Model 2 paratrooper knife; UNUSED.
Post-war manufacture replacement blade for WW2 era German Model 2 (type II) take-down Fallschirmjäger-Messer (paratrooper knife) in scarce unused condition; scarce blued steel type; the quality is exceptional; this blade is really well-made. See the dedicated German gravity knives page, courtesy of Wikipedia. The blade is in unused condition with original factory edge; marked Eickhorn, Solingen. The blade is about 5″ / 12.7 cm coverall; the edge has not been re-sharpened; the tip is intact; the base of the blade is marked with a letter S on one side. This blade will fit original WW2 era take-down FM knives; it will not fit the post-WW2, Cold War era West German paratrooper knives. I also have the “real deal” early WW2 era Model 1 – Type I Fallschirmjäger-Messer German paratrooper knife available for sale – please take a look.
