This is the famous Applegate-Fairbairn dagger manufactured in the 1990th by Boker in Solinhen, Germany. The dagger is in excellent “as issued” condition with the original factory edge but it came without the sheath.
The dagger is about 11″ / 28 cm overall; dual-edge 440C stainless blade is about 6″ / 15.3 cm. The blade had been bead-blasted for a non-reflective mate finish; the original edge is razor-sharp; the tip is intact. A solid bronze guard is serial-numbered 12804; all parts are tight with no play. This Boker Germany Applegate-Fairbairn dagger has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, it’s in 100% original “as is” condition; these are the actual photos.
This Boker Germany Applegate-Fairbairn dagger is part of a small collection of vintage daggers I’ve recently purchased. You can check out the other daggers from this collection by clicking on the following tab: daggers. Also, I have a small but very interesting collection of various edged WW1 and WW2 era weapons available for sale. Don’t forget to check out our Militaria section for other WW1 and WW2 era combat knives, including German WW1 era trench knives, vintage USAF WW2 Pilot Knives and a couple of rare WW2 “OSS Drop” knives we offer for sale.
