Rare Bavarian “1/2 mug” beer token issued by Haag Brewery in 1766; XF condition. Oval-shaped type struck in copper; uniface. Well-centered strike with sharp details; no dings or rim nicks. About 17.8 mm by 20.5 mm; weights about 2.4 grams; plain rim. An attractively-toned specimen with original chocolate-brown patina; VARY rare in any shape or form these days.
