Original WW2 era US-issued “Carlisle Model” individual first aid pocket – this is the scarce “red type” IFAK with the sulfa powder pocket. Red painted individual first aid pockets were manufactured for a short time. A scarce type in general and super hard-to-find in such a nice condition as these brass tin cand would bend at the slightest pressure. This American WW2 Carlisle Model first aid pocket is in better-than-average condition – no dings or dents, about 95% of the original red paint is intact; a couple of minor paint chips are noted for accuracy.
