Original WW2 era US Signal Corps 6 x 30mm binoculars in its original war-time production all-leather carry case; manufactured in 1942 by Bausch & Lomb in Rochester, NY. These binoculars is in great overall condition with original black finish and all original manufacture markings 100% visible; serial number EE 81074. The optics are clear; the gradual lines and numbers are nice and sharp; brass adjustment wheels work fine. Original leather case is very good condition, considering the age. The case’s front, back, and the inside of the lid is signed with what looks like Clarence Laughter / 137th Infantry / 33rd Division. The leather is supple still; the top lid mounted compass is intact and in 100% serviceable condition. The case is signed 137th Infantry, 33rd Division (participated in the US Navy Pacific campaign).
