WW2 UFH M1 bayonet (not a cut-down) made by United Fork & Hoe. Blued 10-inch blade, original M7 composition scabbard; good condition, considering the age.
Original WW2 era M1 10″ blade bayonet manufactured by United Fork & Hoe (UFH) and M7 composition scabbard for US M1 Garand. This is NOT a cut-down of the older, “long” 16″ blade M1905 bayonet which a lot of M1s were converted from during the war. This M1 is in better than average condition for the type with just a few contact marks on the pommel and some edge nicks on the tip from bayonet practice. Bayonet release mechanism is tight and 100% functional. The bayonet is about 14-3/8″ / 36.5 cm overall; the blade is about 9-3/7″ / 24.8 cm; marked U.F.H. / U.S. “flaming bomb” on ricasso. Original M7 composition by Victory Plastics; no cracks or chips on the plastic; this M7 is in excellent overall condition. Garand clips are photo props and will not be included with the lot 😉
Overall, this original United Fork & Hoe WW2 UFH M1 bayonet is in excellent 100% functional condition; this type is scarce in better grades as most were used as intended. This WW2 UFH M1 bayonet is not cleaned or tampered with in any way, it is in 100% original “as is” condition. These are the actual photos; Garand clips are not included with the bayonet 😉
