First year of issue large silver 5 Pesetas struck at the Madrid mint (SD-M) in 1871, full stars with the in-stars date nice and crisp. Great-looking specimen with original gray with goldish-purple overtones patina – this type is rare this nice as most went through heavy circulation. About 37.4 mm in diameter, 25 grams, raised inscription on the rim; nice specimen with great eye appeal; a few minor bag marks are noted for accuracy. This coin has not been cleaned or tempered with in any way; these are the actual photos.
