Russia 1814 silver Rouble SPB-PS; St. Petersburg mint; Severin 2681. Nicely toned specimen with original light-gray patina. Attractive VF+ condition
Scarce Alexander I era (1801-1825) silver Rouble struck in 1814 at the St. Petersburg mint; mint master’s initials PS (Russian ΠC) are above the date. The coin is about 35.7 mm in diameter, weighs about 20.45 grams; inscription on the rim. Circulated coin but it is still in the above-average condition for the type with attractive original light-gray patina throughout; no rim nicks or dings – scarce this nice as the entire issue was in heavy circulation.
An attractive specimen with no issues to speak of; don’t miss your chance to add this Russia 1814 silver Rouble SPB-PS coin to your collection! Not polished, buffed, or chemically cleaned; these are the actual photos.
