Rare Midland Band Show Flowers and Garden Competition silver award dated August 1907. Attributed to Mr. E. Palmer “For Hardy Flowers“. Struck by Vaughton & Sons (V&S hallmark) in Birmingham, GB. High-relief gilt silver medal; hand-engraved reverse. Nice mid-size medal – 42 mm in diameter; 35.0 gm / 1.235 oz; plain rim. Excellent and well-preserved medal – a nice piece of the fading pre-WW1 British history with attractive golden-gray patina; Almost Uncirculated condition.
