Italian States Naples 1855 silver 120 Grana; attractively toned AU with orig gray with golden-purple overtones patina; great eye appeal.
Ferdinand II era large silver 120 Granas struck in 1855 in Naples, full strike with crisp details. Great-looking specimen with original gray with goldish-purple overtones patina. A relatively common type but hard to find this nice as most of these Crown-size coins went through heavy circulation. About 37 mm in diameter, 27.53 grams, inscription on the rim; nice specimen with great eye appeal; one minor rim ding on obverse at 7 o’clock is noted for accuracy. This coin has not been cleaned or tempered with in any way; these are the actual photos.
