Excellent quality original US-made Blackjack Knives AWAC (All Weather – All Conditions) fighting knife made circa 1995 in Effingham, IL. Blackjack had always made excellent quality products. But their labor intensive production also made it hard to compete with cheap mass-produced Chinese junk 🙁 Blackjack managed to complete only 1000 of these high quality fighters before Blackjack went bankrupt.
This AWAC fighter is in scarce mint condition with original black leather sheath. The knife is about 10-1/2″ / 26.6 cm overall; bead-blasted blade is about 6″ / 15.2 cm; original factory is razor-sharp; the tip is intact. A few very light pots on the spine are just dirt I noticed later and wiped the blade clean. Black non-slip plastic handle with a solid iron guard; all parts are tight. Original black leather sheath is also unused; the leather is soft and supple. Rare short-lived AWAC fighter in very hard-to-find unused condition; this knife will be a welcome addition to any collection.
This scarce Blackjack 1995 AWAC fighting knife has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, it’s in 100% original “as is” condition; these are the actual photos.
