Austria 1857A silver Thaler Taler 1st yr of issue, Vienna mint. Proof-like in rare AU condition with attractive goldish-gray patina; hard to find this nice.
Large Crow-size coin in rare Almost Uncirculated condition with attractive light-gray patina; the coin actually looks much better “in person”. This type is VERY hard to find in uncirculation condition; a small planchet defect on the rim at 10 o’clock on reverse is noted for accuracy – see photos. About 40.6 mm in diameter, 28.1 grams; raised inscription on the rim. Not wiped, cleaned, or otherwise messed around with; these are the actual photos.
This rare Austria 1825A silver Taler/Thaler is not a later reproduction or a copy; it is guaranteed to be 100% authentic or your money back. This coin was part of the life-long numismatic collection assembled an American German-born doctor; it is still in its original circa 1970th-1980th coin flip with the original owner’s handwriting.
