British WW2 No 4 Mark II bayonet 3rd Pattern made by Singer, original metal scabbard included; excellent overall condition, considering the age.
Original WW-2 era spike bayonet for Lee-Enfield No. 4 bolt-action rifle manufactured in Great Brittan by Singer, as indicated by factory code N.67 stamp. This is the 3rd pattern No 4 Mark II bayonet – to speed-up and simplify the wartime production, the socket and blade were made of two separate forgings later welded together. The bayonet looks unused with some surfaces still covered in original factory cosmoline. It is about 10-1/16″ / 25.5 cm overall; the blade is about 8″ / 20.3 cm; the blade is straight; the tip is intact. The bayonet’s release button is in perfect working order; no dings, nicks, or other contact marks on the socket. The socket is stamped No 4 MKII . No67 on one side, “↑” arsenal acceptance stamp / 1157 inspection stamps on the other.
Original metal scabbard is in very good overall condition, considering the age; most of the original black finish is intact. Overall, this British WW2 No 4 Mark II bayonet is in 100% serviceable condition still – don’t miss your chance to add it to your collection! These are the actual photos.
