Vietnam War US Milpar M7 bayonet, original TWB M8A1 scabbard – scarce The Working Blind maker from Philadelphia, PA. Field-used condition; great shape overall condition, considering the age.
Original Vietnam War era M7 bayonet manufactured by Columbus Milpar & Mfg (Milpar). The M7 was first issued in 1964; it was originally designed for the M16 rifle but it will fit several later-produced US combat rifles, including the current M4 carbine. This bayonet is about 11-7/8″ / 30 cm overall; parkerized blade is about 6-5/8″ / 17 cm long. The blade has been re-sharpened; the tip is intact. Ricasso is unmarked as intended; muzzle ring/guard is stamped US M7 on one side, MILPAR on the other. Black plastic handle grips are tight; great overall condition with no typical chips or cracks. The bayonet’s release mechanism is excellent and 100% functional; all handle parts are solid with no play. Original M8A1 composition scabbard was made in the 1960th by The Working Blind located in Philadelphia, PA (TWB on the throat). The scabbard is used, but it is in 100% serviceable condition still. .
This original Vietnam War US Milpar M7 bayonet has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way; it is in 100% original “as is” condition. These are the actual photos.
