Vietnam War era Camillus MK2 fighting knife, correct all-leather scabbard included. A classic US Mark 2 in scarce UNUSED condition; rare this nice.

Classic US military MK2 fighting knife manufactured by Camillus Cutlery in Camillus, NY in scarce unused condition; comes with the original all-leather scabbard. Mark 2 is the classic American fighting knife; this type was used in combat in all theaters of WW2 and in virtually every war thereafter. Most of these handy fighters were used as intended; this MK2 is better than average condition for the type.

This MK2 is about 12-1/8″ / 30.8 cm overall; the blade is about 7″ / 17.8 cm. Original factory edge is razor-sharp; the tip is intact; no ding marks/nicks on the spine or the edge edge; pretty mush all of the original parkerized blade finish is intact. Ricasso is stamped U.S. / CAMILLUS N.Y. on one side; the guard is unmarked, as it should be.  Stacked leather washers handle with the factory moisture-protective brown varnish coat; all washers are tight. Steel guard and heavy-duty pommel are also tight with no play. Round hammer-like pommel is in great shape with no nicks or ding marks. Original all-leather scabbard is unmarked as intended; all original stitching and rivets are intact; the leather is still soft and supple still. Solid Vietnam War era fighter is in great overall condition, considering the age; this type is getting harder to find in the top grade.

This attractive Vietnam War era Camillus MK2 fighting knife has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, 100% original condition; these are the actual photos. I have a few more Vietnam era American knives, as well as some British, Commonwealth, and German WW2 era combat knives and bayonets, plus several scarce WW1 and WW2 fighting daggers and trench knives from other countries available for sale – please take a look in our Militaria section.
