Description

Vietnam War 1967 Camillus Jet Pilot Knife fighting knife, original early leather scabbard, NORTON PIKE sharpening stone included. Very good overall condition, considering the age.

Original Vietnam War US Air Force Jet Pilot Survival/Fighting Knife with hard-to-find early all-leather scabbard, compete with the original 1960th NORTON PIKE honing stone in the front pocket. An excellent quality old-timer with signs of the actual field use. The knife was manufactured in 1967 by Camillus Cutlery in Camillus, New York; date-stamped March 1967 on the pommel.

The heavy-duty hammer-like pommel still has most of the original light-gray paint on it; the side is stamped CAMILLUS / N.Y. / 3-1967. Stacked leather washers handle with iron guard and pommel; the handle is tight; the guard has a tiny bit of a play. The knife is about 9-1/2″ / 24.8 cm overall; the blade is about 5″ /12.7 cm. The edge has been lightly re-sharpened; it’s razor-sharp still; the tip is intact. The saw teeth on the spine look unused. Original all-leather scabbard with the tie-down tip and honing stone in the pocket is in good overall condition, considering the age. The leather is a bit dry, the keeper in nice and tight; all stitching and rivets are intact. The original circa 1960th NORTON PIKE honing stone in the front pocket looks unused.  This is an excellent quality US military-issue knife; over 50 years later it is in 100% serviceable condition still. Don’t miss your chance to add it to your collection!

This original Vietnam War 1967 Camillus Jet Pilot Knife has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, 100% original “as is” condition; these are the actual photos. I have a few more Vietnam War era knives and bayonets, as well as some American, British, Commonwealth, and German WW2 era combat knives and bayonets and several scarce WW1 and WW2 fighting daggers / trench knives – please take a look in the Militaria section.
