Original USAF Camillus Jet Pilot Knife / bail-out fighting knife dated 02-1976; original all-leather scabbard with Norton Pike sharpening stone; great condition.

Original US Air Force Jet Pilot Survival/Fighting Knife with hard-to-find early-type all-leather scabbard in scarce practically unused condition, compete with correct Vietnam War era Norton Pike honing stone in the front pocket. An excellent quality old-timer in great overall condition; the knife is date-stamped 2-1976 on the pommel. Manufactured by Camillus Cutlery in Camillus, New York.

The heavy-duty hammer-like pommel is stamped CAMILLUS / N.Y.  / 2-1976. Stacked leather washers handle with iron guard and pommel; all parts are tight with no play. The knife is about 9-3/8″ / 24 cm overall; the blade is about 4-7/8″ /12.5 cm. The edge has been very gently re-sharpened; it’s razor-sharp still; the tip is slightly nicked – could easily be re-touched if needed. A well-defined blade with 0riginal bright blade finish throughout. Original all-leather scabbard with the tie-down tip and honing stone in the pocket looks unused/unissued; it is in excellent condition overall, considering the age. The leather is soft and supple, the keeper in nice and tight; all stitching and rivets are intact.  Honing stone manufactured by Norton Pike  is slightly used on one side.  This is an excellent quality US military-issue knife and it is still in 100% serviceable condition; don’t miss your chance to add it to your collection!

This attractive USAF Camillus Jet Pilot Knife has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, 100% original “as is” condition. These are the actual photos, spent brass is not included with the lot 😉 I have a few more American, British, Commonwealth, and German combat knives and bayonets, as well as several scarce WW1 and WW2 fighting daggers and trench knives from other countries available for sale – please take a look in our Militaria section.
