United Spanish War Veterans miniature medal, scarce bronze “mini badge” type, intact original pin-on suspension; great overall condition, considering the age.
Original hard-to-find miniature SPANISH WAR VETERANS bronze medal – this type would be worn on the every-day civilian attire instead of the much- larger official “full-size” Spanish War Veteran medal – see the last photo for the size comparison (this lot included the “mini” medal only). An attractive “mini” with gorgeous golden-brown patina over metal surfaces. This piece is in great condition with the original silk ribbon and a pin-on suspension intact; rare this nice. The medal is about 2-3/4″ / 70 mm to to bottom. Very attractive specimen with original patina; great overall eye appeal. Not cleaned or tempered with; these are the actual photos.
