Sheffield England Ebro Williams garter dagger stiletto knife with original sheath, polished bone and silver fittings handle, made circa 1890th; RARE
Scarce circa 1890-1900 high quality lady’s “garter dagger” concealed-carry knife with dual-edge stiletto blade, polished bone with silver fittings handle and original leather sheath. Great overall condition, considering the age; made by Ebro Alfred Williams (registered in 1890; went out of business in 1920) in Sheffield, England; a hard to find maker. This stiletto dagger is still in serviceable condition after 100 plus years – a great find!
The dagger is in used, but better than average condition; the dual-edge blade is very sharp still; the tip is intact. Ricasso is stamped +EBRO+ / A. WILLIAMS / SHEFFIELD / ENGLAND on one side. The dagger is about 8-1/4″ / 21 cm; the blade is about 4-1/2″ / 11.5 cm long. Polished bone handle is not cracked or chipped, German silver guard is solid; all handle parts are tight with no play. Original leather sheath had seen better days; the tip is worn-out and the garter hanger is gone. Still, this rare Sheffield England Ebro Williams garter dagger stiletto knife with original sheath is very hard to find these days; don’t miss your chance to add it to your collection!
