Description

RARE Poland Russia 1843 silver 25 Kopeks 50 Groszy -smallest mintage in the series, only 27,600 struck! Warsaw mint, interesting Russian-Polish dual denomination coinage.

Rare 8-year type Polish 1843 silver 25 Kopeks / 50 Groszy – an interesting double-denomination struck at the Warsaw mint during Imperial Russia rule. Short-lived type and hard to find denomination in general; 1843 was the 2nd yr of issue – it is the smallest mintage year and the key to the series – only 27,600 coins were struck. Original light-gray patina; about 24.5 mm in diameter; weights 5.18 gm. VERY hard to find type as all Russo-Polish issues are super-hot collectibles these days.

This rare Poland Russia 1843 silver 25 Kopeks 50 Groszy specimen is guaranteed original or your money back. See our European Coins section for the additional items related to Poland.
