An unusual double-denomination Russo-Polish 1836 silver 1-1/2 Roubles / 10 Zlotych – rare Severin 3168 “re-engraved 6 in date” type; St. Petersburg mint strike. An attractive Crown-size specimen in better-than average condition for the type. The coin is about 40.2 mm in diameter; about 30.7 grams, inscription on the rim. This type is getting harder to find in better grades as all Russo-Polish issues are super-hot collectibles these days. Looks like an old cleaning with some newer patina developing since; these are the actual photos.
