Unused KA-BAR 2750 boot knife, dual-edge 5″ blade, original leather sheath. Nice vintage dagger made in the 1970th in Japan; scarce this nice.
Vintage 1970th model 2750 early production boot knife made by the famous Ka-Bar Knives. The blade is stamped Ka-Bar / Cleveland, Ohio / 2750 on ricasso. The other side is covered by the old collection sticker (the same matching collection number 0543 is on the other sticker on the sheath’s belt clip). I believe these were made for Ka-Bar in Japan in the mid-1970th.
Rare unused condition; the original factory edge is razor-sharp; the tip is intact. The dagger is about 9-1/8″ / 23.2 cm overall; the “narrow wasp” dual-edged blade is about 5” / 12.7 cm. Polished solid bronze guard and a light-yellow plastic handle with ornamental brass pins. All parts are tight; a small thin hairline crack on one side of the plastic is noted for accuracy. The original black leather sheath is also unused; stainless steel boot clip is nice and tight; it’s stamped JAPAN on the lower part.
This KA-BAR 2750 boot knife is part of a small collection of vintage daggers I’ve recently purchased. You can check out the other daggers from this collection by clicking on the following tab: daggers. Also, I have a small but very interesting collection of various edged WW1 and WW2 era weapons available for sale. Don’t forget to check out our Militaria section for other WW1 and WW2 era combat knives, including German WW1 era trench knives, vintage USAF WW2 Pilot Knives and a couple of rare WW2 “OSS Drop” knives we offer for sale.
