Classic Bob Loveless Drop Point Hunter design by Gerber Legendary Blades; this is 2001 limited-edition run was made for Gerber in Italy. Integral guard design with fantastic quality engraving on both bolsters. Gerber’s “Loveless Dropped Hunter” issue was limited to just 2001 knives. This is 1 of only 50 that had been engraved by master-engraver Dave Lark (some claim 100 engraved knives). Whatever the actual number, this rare engraved traditional-style “Loveless Dropped Hunter” would make a great addition to any collection.
This rare beauty is about 8-1/4″ / 21 cm overall; satin-polished 440-C stainless blade is about 3-1/2″ / 9 cm; original factory edge is razor-sharp; the tip is intact. The handle is solid; all parts are tight with no play. Brown canvas micarta handle scales with red spacers and aluminum-magnesium pins. This knife comes with original Gerber-Loveless design leather sheath with a safety plastic insert; the sheath is in mint condition as well. Original retail box included.
