GERBER Guardian boot knife dagger designed in the 1980th by Bob Loveless. Original “boot clip” leather sheath, slim 3.25″ blade, low serial number; rare UNUSED condition – scarce this nice.
Scarce vintage GERBER LEGENDARY BLADES extra-slim Guardian boot knife dagger designed for Gerber by the famous late Bob Loveless in the 1980th. Hand-finished in the ’80s in Portland, Oregon, USA. The dagger is in scarce unused condition; the original factory edge is razor-sharp; the tip is intact. The dagger is about 7-1/8″ / 18.2 cm overall; the blade is about 3-1/4” / 8.3 cm. Very low 1st-year production serial number 2291 is etched on one side of ricasso; Gerber’s sword logo and DESIGN BY R.W. LOVELESS etching on the other. Cast aluminum handle with non-slip black finish is stamped GUARDIAN on one side; the handle is tight with no contact marks. The original black leather sheath with the plastic “boot clip” sheath is in unused condition as well.
