Gerber 1993 Harley Davidson dagger gold-etched blade presentation set with original American walnut display case, COA included. Only 3000 of these huge daggers were made; SN 2702/3000. UNUSED condition – scarce this nice.
Large American dagger/boot knife by GERBER LEGENDARY BLADES – scarce “1903-1993” limited-addition Harley Davidson’s 90th anniversary issue. Manufactured by GERBER in 1992 exclusively for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and individually numbered (SN 2702/3000 on the brass handguard). This Harley Davidson-only model was limited to 3000 knives; all hand-made with pride in Gerber’s factory in Portland, USA.
This is a large dual-edge dagger of excellent quality and superb attention to details; the knife is in absolute mint condition. The dark “gun blued” blade with gold-etched eagle design has a strikingly bold appearance. This blade is a real beauty; gold-plated screaming eagle and HD’s logo with the 1903-1993 golden dates on black are nicely complimenting the dagger’s overall bad-ass look. This is a large toy for the big boys out there – the dagger is about 13-3/8″ / 34 cm overall with a large 8” / 20.3 cm wide spear-point blade. Mirror-polished tempered chromium alloy blade with the black coating (probably titanium nitride); solid bronze handguard and pommel; laminated black wood handle. Bronze darkening from the long-term storage is noted for accuracy; could be polished away if you decide to do so. Original edge, the blade was never used or re-sharpened; the tip is intact.
The knife was never carried or used and it is RAZOR sharp. This dagger is in the original walnut display case with a magnetic-catch glass top lid on brass hinges. The display box is custom-fit for the knife; lined with red “velveteen” material and it can be mounted on a wall. Comes the matching serial-numbered Gerber’s COA. The display case is made of the solid American walnut wood and could be mounted on the wall.
