Vintage circa 1967-1969 BUCK KNIVES model 124 Frontiersman large Hunting/Fighting knife in rare unused condition. Due to its size and quality a lot of Buck Frontiersmans had been privately purchased by American GIs during the Vietnam War to be used as fighting knives; this type was very popular with the troops. The knife is about 12″ / 30.5 cm overall; the blade is about 7″ / 17.8 cm; it has not been re-sharpened; original factory edge is razor-sharp; the tip is intact.  Vintage “upside-down” 2-line BUCK / USA logo on ricasso.
