Browning Japan model 378 knife handmade by Tak Fukuta in Seki, Japan. Exotic mother-of-pearl and abalone shell handle scales, original leather presentation leather case; rare mint NIB with papers.

Scarce Browning Arms vintage presentation grade Model 378 Hunter-Skinner, hand-made in the late 1980th – early 1990th in Seki, Japan by a well-known master bladesmith Tak Fukuta. Solid full-tang construction with exotic mother-of-pearl and abalone shell handle scales over silver-nickel. Deeply hollow-ground blade is mirror polished AUS-8 stainless; the knife comes with the original high quality brown leather presentation case/display stand; still in the original retail box with Browning papers.

The knife is about 7-1/8″ / 18 cm overall; the blade is about 3-1/4” / 8.3 cm. Original edge is razor-sharp, the tip is intact; all parts are tight with no play. The knife has never been used or carried; minor dents on the cardboard retail box from storage are noted for accuracy. Overall condition is excellent; this limited-edition Browning Japan model 378 knife will be a welcome addition to any collection.
